Tattoo
Tattoos are art that stays with you, season after season. I design custom pieces that blend intricate linework with bold, modern style — crafted to reflect your story and worn with confidence.

Hello! I appreciate your interest in working with me and I look forward to learning more about the tattoo you have in mind. Please use this form to share your vision with me as best you can. It doesn’t need to be perfect, but the more details you can share the better. You can expect a response within two weeks when traveling and one week when not traveling. Make sure you add my email (Joey@JoHennaDesign.com) to your contacts so that my response does not end up in spam!

FAQs
-
I tattoo around 4-5 days per week, usually Wednesday thru Saturday with occasional pop-ups other days of the week and on a case-by-case basis. If I am doing a guest spot at a location, please pay attention to the dates listed as it may be different than my usual availability.
-
I price my work based on the design, not by the hour so we will need to discuss what you're looking for before I can give you a quote. Please be honest if you have a budget and if money is a barrier for you.
-
The standard tipping rate is 20%. I always say tipping is always appreciated but never expected. Tipping shows appreciation to this beautiful art form and helps me invest in better products, more inks, and more.
-
I require a $50 deposit for all appointments of $150 or more and goes towards the final cost of your tattoo. All deposits are non-refundable. This policy protects me, my work & other eager clients awaiting to be scheduled.
-
I try to be as lenient as possible when it comes to needing to reschedule an appointment. I will allow one rescheduling date without forfeiting the deposit. If you reschedule with me more than once for the same tattoo session, a new deposit will be required and the original deposit will be forfeited. If you no-call no-show, there is a possibility I will not accept future requests to work with you.

Rough sketches are often shared throughout the design process to make sure we are moving in the right direction, but final designs are often not shared until a few days before or at the session. I am always willing to make adjustments at the tattoo session but hope that you chose me as your artist because you trust my art and process. If you would like to have the design completed by a certain date, please let me know early on so that I can try my best to accommodate.
